For over 10 years, Tamra has practiced Anthetic Therapy — a skills-based approach to counseling that helps individuals and couples get free from the Inner Critic. The Inner Critic is that negative voice we all have that sabotages our personal happiness and prevents closeness in our relationships.

Tamra Griffin is a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor in Lafayette, LA. She specializes in helping individuals overcome depression, anger, anxiety, low self-esteem, life transitions, perfectionism, wounds in spirituality, and relationship issues. Tamra provides both individual and marriage & couples counseling.

The continued mentorship of Dr. Kathryn Elliott, co-founder of Anthetic Therapy, has allowed Tamra to become a master in her field. Tamra provides professional CEU trainings in this transformative theoretical approach. She has a passion for equipping other therapists with the skills to facilitate healing and achieve inner freedom.

She lives true and seeks the heart of God in all she does. Her clients receive profound empathy, wisdom in counsel, and skills for restoration and growth in all areas of life. Outside of therapy, Tamra is a wife to Jacob. They live a life of adventure with their four children and love each other deeper by the day. She loves photography, being on the water, and studying theology.

Her deepest desire is conversational intimacy with Jesus, and she feels called to a lifelong healing ministry. Tamra is a delight — 100% head, 100% heart. And she can't wait to join you in your journey to wholeness.
